Referring to what has been said on the definition of risk, also induced hazards and risks have been considered. However, the one which has been best developed, both methodologically and within the prototype concerns slope instability and landslides triggered by earhtquakes.
The procedure allows to evaluate the potential for landslides triggered by earthquake on an area basis, on single slopes, and on single landslides.
This type of induced hazard is particularly interesting to study because of the chain of consequences that it may start on other vulnerable systems (roads, lifelines, settlements).
